Creating magazines is a team effort and we look for a diverse range of talents from applicants. However, competition for jobs in the magazine industry is fierce. In order to improve your application chances you should try to obtain work experience either at your school, university or business magazine, or by submitting work to websites and other media.
The Periodicals Training Council provides advice and guidance to those wishing to pursue a career in the industry. It produces a free 24-page careers guide entitled Your Future In Magazines, which you may find useful. To find out more click here.
