What Will You Get Out Of It?

If your application is successful, you’ll sit with one of our teams, working alongside the people in your chosen interest area. That could be one of our numerous magazine titles or in a more specialist environment, such as our Production Studio, depending on the area within Future that interests you and the placements that we have available. Every placement is different and has its own structure, but within each you’ll be given the chance to shadow your team, and in some cases you’ll be given the chance to sub copy, take on a broad range of writing, and learn other key skills essential for working in a magazine publishing environment. This will be your chance to see what it’s like to work at Future, find out how people have developed their careers and get an insight into what working in publishing is really like.

Why Do We Do It?

These placements are a great chance for us to meet and develop talented individuals with fresh ideas. More importantly, if you like what you see and think a job at Future is for you, then we already know what you can do. In fact, many of our previous work experience candidates are now employed at Future full-time!
